Origin[]
This blue telephone box was used in the early seasons of the T.V. serial series "Doctor Who". It was decommissioned in the mid 70s when a newer model was brought in and it remained stored in the BBC props department. It was rediscovered in 2004 and served as inspiration for the revival series.
Its passive effects resulted in Regents leaving it in the custody of BBC. Apparently there are fans among them.
Effects[]
When entered, the person(s) will fall into a deep sleep, having vivid dreams of science-fiction subjects. Results vary and are subject to influence from memories. All of the dreams feature the dreamer in the role of "The Doctor" and end either by being removed from the box or by "regenerating" in the dream, indicating a new Doctor must take over. Once a regeneration has occurred, the artifact will no-longer work for that person.
When active, the bulb on top flashes and the sound of the TARDIS can be heard. Dreams tend to follow an indepeandant time-stream and a dream of a journey can take mere seconds.
