Origin[]

Aaron Hillel Swartz (1986 - 2013) was an American computer programmer, entrepreneur, writer, political organizer and internet hacktivist. Aside from a good amount of positive things he did in his life it was over shadowed when he hacked into JSTOR, a digital repository, to illegally gather documentations about FBI and MIT activities. Charges against him included wire fraud, computer fraud, unlawfully obtaining information from a protected computer, breaking and entering, grand larceny and unauthorized access to a secure computer network. Even with all these counts against him he was allowed to return home where he proceeded to kill himself by hanging.

Effects[]

No matter what type of computer (MAC, PC, Computer without internet access, etc.) when the mouse is connected to it the user is allowed to access any network they want. Increases basic computer skills.

Collection[]

Wired mouse was removed from evidence as it was what Swartz hung himself with.
