Origin[]

While its origin is unknown, Artie posed a theory that the metal for the ring was taken from an actual axe that had the ability.

Today[]

Mr. Stall came across the ring in a small town he was visiting when he heard rumors of trees being cut right down the middle in a clean stroke, yet there were no lightning strikes that could do such a thing, nor were there any storms at all. But it was when Mr. Stall heard about doors being split into two, followed by someone being thrown into a car windshield right across from the door, did he look into the matter. He found out that a group of kids found the ring owned by someone in the woods, took it, found what it could do, then decided to use it to steal. Mr. Stall took the ring and kept it after explaining things to the original owner.

Effects[]

If one were to punch something while wearing this ring, the object they strike will be cut in two. How the object is hit with the ring decides on how it gets cut. Striking with the blade being pointed vertically splits the object vertically, while punching it horizontally will split the object sideways. The user is thrown back several feet from the object when they punch it . Increasing the force of the punch does not worsen the damage to the object; although, it will increase the distance the user is thrown back.
