OriginEdit

The 2013 London Marathon began with a 30-second moment of silence in honour of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Many runners also wore black ribbons on the encouragement of race organisers.

TodayEdit

After what had happened in Boston, Mr. Stall was working at the office when a ping popped up describing a man who did not seem to run out of stamina in London even though he took place in their marathon, though he collapsed a half an hour later due to exhaustion. After using his key to pop up across the pond, he realized that the person who had ran was wearing a ribbon that symbolized mourning in respect for what happened in Boston, and due to the overwhelming support from those in the marathon, the ribbon granted the user the stamina from everyone who ran during the event. Mr. Stall managed to get the artifact away from the runner, and when he held it the artifact gave Mr. Kipling the focus of those who ran as well. Luckily when he took it back to the Warehouse he did not suffer any form of exhaustion, which lead him to believe one had to actually do something with the ribbon being worn in order to incur its downside.
