Origin[]
The SS United States holds the record for the highest speed crossing the Atlantic Ocean. On its maiden voyage the ship broke the Transatlantic speed record by sailing from New York to Cornwall in just three days, ten hours, and forty minutes. This feat has not been repeated since.
Usage[]
When champagne is sipped from any of the glasses while on a maritime vehicle, be it ship, boat, raft, dinghy, or anything that floats, the vessel will be able to move at an average speed of 34.51 knots, (almost 40 miles per hour, or 64 kilometers per hour). While there are no unusual side effects to the glasses, users should beware drinking too much. The alcohol can still affect the captain's judgment.
Collection[]
Myka retrieved two glasses on a solo mission to a Maryland maritime museum. Unfortunately, there are many more of these glasses out in the world. As such they have been added to the Warehouse's wish list.
