Zalgo is an internet phenomenon of jumbled up text with loads of subscripts and other characters obscuring the actual message, often featured in forum comments. It is also associated with tentacled beasties like Cthulu and the readers’ ensuing chaotic mania. Some editions feature people with eyes and mouths turned black, others with text describing a horrifying creature lurking beyond the wall.

Distorts local space, allowing the user to combine objects together in unnatural ways or travel through seemingly mental projection to onlookers. Behind multiple cases of teleportation where people became stuck behind or even inside of walls.
A sign of their proximity is content manipulation of visual mediums (such as comics and webpages) into more gestalt and disturbing imagery. Causes debilitating hallucinations only when in a confined space. Said visions make the user believe all is normal from their point of view while everybody else turns crazy. In reality, the victim behaves violently towards others in attempts to control or attack them.
