HistoryEdit

Though the exact origin of this artifact is murky, it is known that the artifact inspired a key scene and motif of the 1979 claymation movie, Jack Frost, as produced by Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr..

EffectsEdit

A white box with a sprig of holly on the top, opening the box reveals exactly what the person wants most in the world. However, it exists merely as a very convincing illusion, and people can get so drawn into the idea of it actually existing that they'll forego other necessities to spend time with the object. The only way to deactivate the box is for the afflicted people to, of their own free will, place the object back in the box, no matter how spatially impossible it may seem.
