The Empire State Building is one of the tallest and most famous skyscrapers in the world, residing in New York City among many of its fellow giants. Standing at 1454 feet with antennae, it stood as the world’s tallest building from 1931 to 1970. It is an American landmark and considered one of the best examples of the Art Deco style.

The masonry was recovered in 1948 by agent J. Leavenworth, three years after a B-25 bomber accidentally crashed into it. No tests have shown any specific contribution from the accident itself.
