Origin[]

Elevators can be quite annoying. Cramped quarters, lots of people, and frequent breakdowns are normal complaints. One thing that unites all of them is the horrible music that is played inside of them. A mixture of slow-jazz and new-age music always seems to be playing. This elevator must have absorbed the frustration and stress of its passengers for years to become the trap that it is today.

Usage[]

When a button is pressed inside of the elevator, the doors will close and trap whomever is inside of it. The elevator will then play music that is as soothing as it is aggravating. The music will slowly drive passengers insane. Some last longer than others, but the time frame is around forty-three minutes. The elevator will not let go of its prey until every passenger is out of their mind. To open the elevator the doors must be splashed with neutralizer.

Collection[]

Steve and Claudia retrieved the elevator after an office building reported an unusual number of elevator breakdowns coupled with employees being hospitalized with dementia. This artifact has come in handy around the Warehouse as a non-lethal trap for escaped artifacts. When Claudia was being chased by a living suit of armor, she lured it into the elevator, pushed a button, and ran out. The artifact was trapped until it could be safely neutralized.
