Origin[]
Worn by the pioneer of undersea breathing and essential creator of scuba gear, Jacques Cousteau.
Effects[]
The goggles are always damp and have algae growing on them. His goggles allow the wearer survive underwater on one full breath of air for one hour, which in emergency scenarios can prove extremely useful. Oddly enough, this is not in Artie's travel bag. They also allow the wearer to see underwater with perfect clarity, regardless of how murky the water might be. However, a word of caution: if still submerged after the time limit, the effects disappear and their body will go through sudden oxygen starvation. This can lead to drowning, the bends or brain damage if they do not surface in time.
