Origin[]

Knecht Ruprecht is a companion of Saint Nicholas in Germanic folklore. According to most traditions, Knecht would ask children if they prayed. Answering yes resulted in the children being rewarded sweets, while those who didn't would be beat with his bag of ashes. The modernized version features naughty children being given coal and sticks instead of being beat, although some versions feature Knecht leaving sticks in children’s shoes so their parents could participate instead.

Effects[]

Activates when someone nearby thinks up a prayer, no matter how simple or unimportant it is. The bag will spill out its contents when near an obedient rule follower, gifting them with snacks, trinkets and small amounts of money. Those who act against set rules or have committed immoral deeds on a regular basis will be severely and creatively beat into submission.
