Origins[]

Lillian Russell was an actress known for her beauty, voice and stage presence. She started in opera, especially Gilbert and Sullivan pieces and moved on to opera and vaudeville acts later in life. She married Edward Solomon, but he was arrested for bigamy, so she remarried three times. Russell died of minor injuries on a mission for President Warren G. Harding to Europe to investigate the increase in immigration.

Effects[]

When worn, the wearer's voice becomes a soprano (unless they already are), they acquire "stage presence" and their beauty/handsomeness becomes amplified. The gloves' downside stems from Lillian's death due to complications caused by seemingly minor injuries suffered while abroad in Europe. The gloves recreate those injuries, which intensify over time until death.

Collection[]

Collected by Agents F. Helms and T. Gray.
