Origin[]

Louis B. Mayer was one of the founders of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, or MGM, the famous film studio, and a producer. He was renowned for his ability to create stars, even out of young children. Under his guidance his stars flourished. He believed that movies should be lighthearted and give moviegoers a happy distraction. Most of the films he produced were happy and family-friendly. He was also known for being very paternal towards his workers, and cared deeply for them. He would come across as slightly controlling, but caring.

Effects[]

When the user sits in Mayer's chair behind the desk, while another person sits in the opposite chair, the effect is activated. After years spent coaching and caring for his actors and actresses, those chairs took on the traits of Mayer and his stars. The person sitting in Mayer's chair will be able to guide the other towards success by bringing out their hidden attributes. However, the chairs will also bring out a paternal instinct to care and protect the subject sitting in the other chair.

Collection[]

Collected by Jack and Rebecca from Mayer's estate after his death.
