The Metaphorical Section is a somewhat small part of the Warehouse that is designed to contain artifacts based on figures of speech. Due to the nature of the artifacts it holds, this section has the side-effect of causing people to take things literally or nothing seriously at all, depending on how the artifacts behave. Unlike the Hoax Foyer or Ovoid Quarantine, though, protective gear is not mandatory due to the mildness and short duration of the side effects.

At the entrance of the section, there is a list of the metaphors that the artifacts are connected to. The list is as follows:

  • Don't Judge a Book by its Cover
  • Bull in the China Shop
  • Who Cut the Cheese?
  • Which Came First, the Chicken or the Egg?
