Origin[]
Mohandas Gandhi, also known as Mahatma (which is Sanskrit for "high-souled" or "venerable), was an activist and freedom fighter. He created a template for nonviolent confrontation and protest which is still used today. Martin Luther King Jr. listed him as an inspiration for his own protests.
Using nonviolent civil disobedience and positive force he was able to gain India its independence from British colonial oppression.
Usage[]
When worn the sandals will instill the wearer with a great sense of serenity and peace. If worn too long the wearer will feel the pounding of his/her own heart as a nuisance and the sandals will stop it from beating.
Mentioned by Pete in "The New Guy".
Collection[]
Collected from the buyer of an auction after he went into what was described by doctors as a "peaceful heart attack". Placed in the Hall of Hate to cancel out the menacing aura of certain artifacts.
