Origin[]
Michel de Nostradame more commonly known as Nostradamus was an apothecary famously wrote "Les Propheties" which many believed predicted major events. One of his works as an apothecary was "Traité des fardemens" which contains recipes for both cosmetics and food. One of his recipes was for cherry jam which he claimed :
- "Clear & Vermillion like a fine Rubey, & of Goodness, Taste & Virtue Excellent, that the Cherryes will Preserve Long in Perfection without adding anything but the Fruit: & will be fit to present to a King for their Supreme Excellence"
Properties[]
This artifact has a strange property where it will be dormant if it is kept in the jar Nostradamus once had. Also, the jar will only activate its effects if the jam was made using the exact methods shown in Traité des fardemens (a copy is available in the Library).
