The bow used by Paris during the Siege of Troy that slayed Achilles in battle.
1000 BCE []
During the Siege of Troy, the Prince of Troy, Hector, and Achilles of the Achaneans engaged in single combat. Achilles eventualy slayed Hector for murdering his cousin Patroclus, and bolstered his body like a trophy rather than honoring him. Paris, in anger, fired an arrow at Achilles and hit a soft spot in his armor, the heel. Achilles then died, most likely from infection or blood loss.
