Origin[]
Police sketch artists or composite sketch artists have been in use throughout history to identify subjects. Police or victims will describe the suspect and the artist will try to replicate the appearance based on the description.
Effects[]
Describing a person while keeping a hand upon the sketchpad will render a stunning likeness in pencil. However, it is suspected that the owner of this sketchpad also worked as a caricaturist, as some of the drawings make come out with comical exaggerations of physical characteristics.
Collection[]
Collected by Vanessa and Hugo in Missouri. They coincidentally found it after Hugo was detained for possession of a controlled substance after a concert that the duo was staking out for another artifact.
