Red Skelton was an entertainer known for his national radio, television and film acts between 1937 and 1971, and as host of the television program The Red Skelton Show. Before that he performed in circus, burlesque and vaudeville shows across America. One of his early comedy routines was “Doughnut Dunkers”, where he and his wife Edna presented a skit on how different people ate doughnuts. After his comedic and acting careers, he took to art as a hobby, painting many artworks featuring clowns.
