OriginEdit

Richard Lawrence was a housepainter from Virginia. He attempted to assassinate President Andrew Jackson. Both of his pistols jammed and wouldn't fire at Jackson. Jackson then beat him with his cane until the authorities showed up. Lawrence was found not guilty of the crime due to insanity. It was believed that the paint fumes from his job made him act irrationally. He spent the rest of his life in an asylum.

UsageEdit

Those holding the cane can't be shot by the pistols. No matter how hard they gun wielders try the pistols will not fire upon the cane user. The guns will never jam in any other situation. Those that hold the cane will find that their temper will rise, and that they will be more prone to swearing.

CollectionEdit

Both were collected shortly after the assassination attempt by a Warehouse 12 Agent.
