Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski is an American murderer, known for engaging in a nation-wide bombing campaign against modern technology, between 1978 and 1995. Kaczynski planted and mailed numerous home-made bombs, killing three people and injuring 23 others. The typewriter became infused with the mathematician's rage at society and at technology.
