Richard Connell's The Most Dangerous Game is a short story about a Big Game hunter from New York City, Sanger Rainsford, who falls off his yacht and washes up on an isolated island in the Caribbean. Once he wakes up he meets General Zaroff who takes care of him, but only so he'd be at his very best as Zaroff hunts and kills human beings for sport. Releasing Rainsford onto the island Zaroff begins to hunt him, however in the end Rainsford gets the better of him proving that man is the most dangerous game.
