Origin[]
Recovered from the woodworking workshop of Mr. Henry Henry from Tibbin's Beach, a budding resort village that was leveled when the artifact activated. This event was passed off as an unusually large moonshine distillery igniting.
Aura readings of the artifact indicate it was created from an obsession with detail, in particular a desire to shave a table leg to be absolutely identical to the other three.
Effects[]
The lathe can grind wood down to a perfect size by removing material on a molecular level. It is possible, if left unchecked, to reduce the project to the width of a single atom. Attempting to continue to lathe will inevitably result in the atom splitting, resulting in a disproportionate nuclear fission event. Current hypothesis is that this is the artifact attempting to somehow lathe into the negatives.
